I'm a motion designer and filmmaker based in Leeds. At Uppbeat, I lead the motion graphics library and the creative, catalogue and product work behind it. Alongside that, I make documentaries and live recordings through inthewindow, and co-run mulch, a not-for-profit events and ticketing platform for the city.

A short documentary about Tom and Owen, the pair behind Alto Radio, and the DIY studio they have built in Leeds. The station has become a meeting point for artists and independent music while development and venue closures continue to reshape the city.

Artist-led studios in Armley, Leeds · 2026
I spent a day with Archie Brooks at Assembly House, one of Leeds' longest-running artist-led spaces. Based in a Victorian mill in Armley, it brings around 80 artists together through affordable studios, exhibitions, gigs and workshops.

Building a fairer way to find and ticket independent events in Leeds.
I co-founded mulch to make independent events easier to find and fairer to ticket. I work across the product, brand, communications and day-to-day running, with transparent fees, protected promoter income and any genuine surplus going back into local causes.
Leading a visual asset library across creative direction, contributors, search, data and product.
I lead Uppbeat's Motion Graphics library, from commissioning contributors and setting the quality bar to taxonomy, search and catalogue performance. I use audience and usage data to decide what the library needs next, work closely with product, engineering, design and growth, and build small tools that make tagging, reporting and catalogue work less manual.

I started inthewindow to document the independent venues, artists and organisers that keep Leeds moving. I direct, shoot, record and edit its documentaries and live sessions, usually working alone so the films can stay close to the people and places they are about.
Motion and social design for a large independent music channel.
I made graphic design, motion and social content for College Music's channels and releases on a freelance basis.
Campaign motion for Adidas, MAOAM, Rubicon and Reebok.
I joined IMA as a motion assistant and moved into motion design, working across retail and FMCG campaigns. The largest project was the Adidas Ultraboost 22 launch at Covent Garden, where I designed and animated the full suite of in-store and window screens.
